Dear Colleagues,
It is a great honour for us to host the 1st International Congress on Borderline Personality Disorder from 1 to 3 July 2010. We are pleased to invite you to join us in Berlin, the historic German “borderline” metropolis where now East meets West in the beating heart of a changing Europe.
Over the last years, both basic and applied research on borderline personality disorder (BPD) have rapidly emerged. We are sure that the launching of a first
international congress focussing primarily on BPD is almost overdue.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Organizing Committee of the Congress we would like to welcome all scientists from both basic and clinical research interested in studying the biological, medical, social and therapeutical
consequences of BPD as well as emotion regulation disorders and impulsivity.
At this congress, top scientists and clinicians will give an insight into their newest contributions to the research on BPD and to the treatment of BPD and related disorders. The variety of symposia will surely be stimulating for all participants.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Berlin from 1 to 3 July.
Yours sincerely
Martin Bohus, MD
