Presentation Formats

Plenary Lectures (B)
Duration: 45 min
Eminent experts will present papers on the congress' main topics.

Symposia (S)
Duration: 90 min
Each symposium at the congress is scheduled for 90 minutes which equals four speakers chaired by two scientists.

Practice Seminars (PS)
Duration: 90 min or 180 min
Practice Seminars help to further broaden the participant's expertise in a particular field of knowledge. The duration of each course is between 90 and 180 minutes. The participation at these courses is not included in the congress registration fee.
Please note: Registration fee will be waived for chairs of accepted practice seminars.

Oral presentations (OP)
Duration: 10 min + 5 min
The oral presentations will be selected by the Scientific Committee after abstract submissions have been reviewed.
The 60-minute sessions will be grouped by topics and chaired by selected specialists. The time slot for a single presentation is 15 minutes including discussion time.

Posters (P)
There will be two poster sessions during the congress. The posters will be grouped into thematic Guided Poster Tours chaired by renowned specialists. The Guided Poster Tours will give the authors the opportunity to
present their findings and discuss them with the audience.
