The official language of the 2nd International Congress on Borderline Personality Disorder and Allied Disorders is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
The congress will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to any registered delegate who is requesting it. Once the registration fee has been settled letters of invitation may be asked for from the congress office.
It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitement from the congress to provide any financial support.
Please provide the following when requesting for a letter of invitation:
The name badge entitles the holder to attend the congress. If the badge gets lost the full registration fee must be paid to acquire a new name badge.
If the attendee later recovers the original name badge and presents it together with the newly acquired one, the registration fee for the recently issued name badge will be refunded.
Please notice that the congress fee does not include insurance. All participants should arrange for their own insurance. Health and accident insurance is strongly recommended and will need to be purchased in the country of origin.
For reasons beyond its control (such as war, strikes, lockouts, riots or any such civil disturbances, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, droughts and typhoons and any other cause of circumstance of whatsoever nature beyond its control that have an impact on the arrangements, timetables or planning of the 2nd International Congress on Borderline Personality Disorder and Allied Disorders (and its corresponding activities in Amsterdam), ESSPD has the right to immediately alter or cancel the activities or events or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly thereto. No party involved shall be entitled to any compensation for damages that result from such alteration or cancellation.
