On the last day of the congress, Triade Borderline has been asked to organize their open day.
Triade Borderline is a national platform in which clients, family of clients, and professionals work close together. These groups are represented by the patient organization Stichting Borderline, the family organization Labyrint in Perspectief, and professionals who work with people who have the Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Stichting Borderline has an annual open day, once every two years they combine it with Triade Borderline.
The main goal of this open day is to bring people with the Borderline Personality Disorder, their relatives and friends, and professionals close together. So people can find recognition in the issues where they come across involving BPD. Experience learned us that the open day has to have a balance between listening and doing. We will organize workshops in which people can experience some exercises which are given in several therapies, but we will also have people telling their stories about their recovery, or information is given about certain subjects. But there should also be fun! We will try to put some fun into some workshops and to finish the day with some music involving BPD. The program of the open day can be downloadad here:

We would be honored if, next to people with BPD, their relatives and friends, and professionals, scientists are also included in this day. We would like to invite you to join us and experience the patient perspective from another angle.
